Informed Gambling
Informed Gambling Centres recorded over 14,000 visits in the 2022-23 year, more than tripling the total number of visits the previous year.
Social Responsibility
2% of annual net income is earmarked for social responsibility initiatives including alcohol- and gambling-related consumer information, research and treatment.
Investment
100% of net income is invested back in the province to support healthcare, education and other essential community services.
Fairtrade coffee
Over 9,500 kilograms of Fairtrade certified coffee was purchased and served to guests in our casinos and offices in 2019.
Recycling
533 metric tons of cardboard was collected for recycling by Winnipeg Liquor Marts and our Distribution Centre in 2019. This one initiative equates to saving over 9,048 mature trees, removing 410 vehicles off the road, and saving 74,515 bathtubs filled with water.
Fleet fuel
45% reduction in idle time by our fleet drivers since 2015 has helped reduce fleet fuel consumption, which is our second largest direct source of GHG emissions (natural gas for heating buildings is first).
