Born and raised in Winnipeg, Michelle Cameron is a proud treaty status woman, band member of Peguis First Nation, and mother of five.
Michelle is the owner and founder of INAC – Indigenous Nations Apparel Company and Dreamcatcher Promotions, Canada’s largest Indigenous-owned promotional company and one of the largest promotional companies in Winnipeg.
What began as a home-based embroidery business in 2011 now employs 56 staff in providing printed promotional products and apparel for businesses, agencies, and organizations including Parks Canada, Natural Resources, Corrections Canada, and RCMP detachments across the country.Michelle mentors new startup entrepreneurs as a coach in Red River Polytech’s Side Hustle 101 program and as a member of the college’s Social Innovation and Community Development and Indigenous Social Entrepreneurship Advisory Committees.
