Josiane Kroll
Director
Josiane Kroll is a senior instructional specialist at the University of Manitoba. She supervises the Learning, Technologies, and Solutions team and oversees delivery of learning technology training and services. Josiane advises leadership on strategic initiatives relating to adoption of new technologies.
Josiane holds a PhD in Computer Science and has over a decade of experience in the software industry. On occasion, she teaches degree-credit courses in the Computer Science department at the University of Manitoba.
Josiane is a founding member of Women Teckmakers (WTM) Winnipeg – a local chapter for Google's Women Techmakers program. As WTM ambassador, she’s helped build a community for local information technology professionals that empowers women in their careers. Josiane also serves as a Google Developers Group organizer, fostering a collaborative, vibrant tech community in the city.
