Tannis Mindell - Director

Tannis Mindell is a former Deputy Minister of the Department of Family Services and Housing and Secretary to Treasury Board for the Province of Manitoba. Upon retiring from civil service in 2011, Tannis accepted an appointment as the first Chair of the newly formed Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation, serving in the role before fully retiring in 2016.

Tannis was named one of Manitoba’s 150 Women Trailblazers in celebration of the province’s 150th Anniversary. She has served on a variety of boards and committees including the Manitoba Floodway Authority, the Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation, the Rady Jewish Community Centre, CancerCare Manitoba’s Guardian Angel Committee, and Floral Philanthropy.
