Ian Urquhart - Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Ian leads the Finance division and is responsible for Financial Analysis & Reporting, Accounting, Budgeting, Corporate Procurement, Central Services and Corporate Property Services.

Ian began his career with Liquor & Lotteries in 2010 as the Corporate Services Accountant. In 2012, he became Business Support Manager which primarily focused on the Casino Renewal program. In 2015, Ian’s role changed to Senior Manager, Business Improvement and Development, which added the Business Improvement and Organizational Change Management functions. In 2017, he moved back into Finance in the role of Director, Accounting. Prior to joining Liquor & Lotteries, Ian worked in a progression of financial roles for a Winnipeg-based publicly traded manufacturing organization.

Ian is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Laurentian University. He is also the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba.
